Join me at Flow Yoga & Wellness Studio on Sunday, November 5th for a “NEW” wellness offering— SOMA into SOUND.
This 75 minute, self-care offering is an opportunity for you to explore & become aware of internal sensations as they arise, through: gentle, intuitive movement, connection to your breath, & sound immersion.
We’ll begin with 35 minutes of gentle, explorative movement & Pranayama (breath regulation), then move into Savasana, where I’ll guide you into a 40 minute Sound Immersion Meditation experience, including:
Tingsha Cymbals
Wind Gong
Himalayan Singing Bowls
Crystal Singing Bowls
Ocean Drum
Both the Svaram 9-Bar Swinging & Elemental Koshi Chimes (x4)
Sound meditation has the ability to support you in focusing your mind. By listening to the tones/sounds, there is potential to connect with and bring your attention to the present moment, letting go of distractions. Sound Immersion may also lower stress & anxiety, improve immune system & heart health, reduce pain & inflammation, and improve sleeping habits.
